"Hey hey, you you, I don't like your girlfriend!"

A scarf knit on the Brother knitting machine. I was inspired the great Avril Lavigne and her song "Girlfriend". The start and end of the scarf have the lyrics "Hey hey, you you" knit on one end and "I don't like your girlfriend" knit on the other. I designed and hand punched the knitting cards for all motiffs.

There are grommets punched into the scarf. There is a crown motiff in the middle of the scarf because in her lyrics she calls herself a princess, but a different kind of princess, if you know what I mean. Surrounding the crowns are a ruching effect done by hanging random stitches on the machine.
